Located south of Dunedin in South Otago’s iconic river town of Balclutha, Holmdene is a modern purpose-built facility offering rest-home and hospital level care that enjoys truly fantastic support from the community and families. This is a rare opportunity to take the lead of a facility and build on the high reputations that all 8 Enliven Services aged care homes share across Otago. Presbyterian Support Otago is seeking applications from Health care professionals with a desire to contribute to the long term success of Holmdene through sound leadership.
This is an opportunity for a professional committed to the well-being of older people, to ensure the day to day leadership and operational management of Holmdene. We are seeking a Health Care professional, preferably a Registered Nurse. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of working in a management and leadership role within the health and disability sector, preferably in aged care. This role calls for a professional who is committed to the well being of older people, with an active interest in community engagement.
Catering for 35 residents across rest home and hospital levels of care, we invite applications from those who posses highly developed interpersonal skills including relationship and advocacy skills. The display of leadership and an ability to manage staff in line with the Presbyterian Support Otago vision is integral. The Enliven care principles of activity, choice, contribution, relationships, respect and security are at the forefront of all you do and this is a role that will draw upon your management experience along with planning, organisational, advocacy and leadership skills.
