Our client is one of largest health providers in Auckland New Zealand.

We are currently on the lookout for several Mental Health Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

The Role:

Perform the duties of this position efficiently to the standards of the department.

To be responsible for the day to day provision of patient care, ensuring standards meet professional, organisation, legal and ethical requirements.

To be successful in this role you must:

• • Support a philosophy of care, which is, patient focused, where care is integrated from pre-admission to post-discharge and where the family is welcome in the carer's team.
  • Ensure the well being and safety of patients by following the values and principles, which underpin best practise in relation to patient, care, education and patient rights.
  • Achieve and maintain the skills necessary to plan, prioritise and implement holistic patient care.
  • Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out within the unit.
  • Accurately document, observe and report relevant nursing findings, within the framework of the department's process.
  • Actively promote/undertake self-development and learning.
  • Maintain safe work practices and environment by actively reducing hazards, reporting accidents/incidents.
