In December 2017 we opened an office in the Hawkes Bay to join the other 11 offices we have around the country. We are now looking to appoint a part time person to assist with increasing work volume
You will need to be self-motivated, adaptable, organised and somebody who can work independently. We are looking for a nurse who has excellent assessment and communication skills - previous Occupational Health experience is not essential as we will provide training and ongoing support to the successful candidate
This position is for 2 days a week with the ability to pick up additional days in periods of high volume. There is good potential to progress to more permanent days in the future
Nursing services provided range from pre-employment medicals, drug testing, health monitoring, well health checks, vaccinations, workplace assessments and blood tests. Assessments are completed both at our offices and at client work sites.
Our work hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm however occasional outside office hours work is required to meet some companies needs for shift workers to undergo health monitoring. There is also a requirement to be on call for afterhours drug testing on a rostered and rotating basis
We have offices in Hastings and Napier and most of the work is within a 30 minute radius of the Hawkes Bay however there will be a requirement to sometimes travel down to Palmerston or across to Gisborne to service client needs in the wider region
You will require a clean New Zealand driver licence and current NZ nursing registration.
