WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING. 

As a Service and Support Advisor, you'll be the first point of call in our Out of Hours services, working in shifts to provide 24/7 help and support. That involves responding to non-clinical questions and pointing people towards local services and carrying out medical reception tasks if needed. Shifts are mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends. We are looking for a full time fixed term maternity leave cover for 6 months 

Your roles and responsibilities include:

  • Responding to people promptly and through the relevant channel
  • Explaining the National Telehealth Service (NTS) programs and connecting people to the right service for them
  • Quickly recognising urgent or clinical needs and directing people onto staff who can help resolve those issues
  • Referring people to local care or services
  • Taking overflow calls if needed and arranging a callback
  • Supporting nurses and clinicians with administrative tasks
  • Accurately recording caller information in our database. 

WHAT WE'LL NEED FROM YOU.

 To carry out this role effectively, you'll need:

  • Two years' experience in administration or customer service roles, preferably within healthcare
  • Good skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Medtech
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems and other specialised software systems
  • Great listening and communication skills
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • A passion for health and wellbeing
  • Ability to move quickly from task to task
  • Ideally a qualification in the health sector
