To this role you will bring at least two years of post graduate experience within New Zealand and a commitment to make a difference in the lives of others. Based in the on site health centre you will become part of a small supportive team of like minded health care professionals.
This role has 2 key components; holding clinics within the health centre which operates on an appointment based triage system and completing medication rounds within the facility.
This is a truly unique opportunity where you will be involved in the many aspects of general practice including assessment, treatment planning and implementing plans of care.
As a professional you are open to working within a multicultural environment, you have a certain robustness while respecting others backgrounds. An understanding of culturally appropriate delivery of health services to Maori is important.
You are confident and competent in your clinical ability, self managing and happy to work independently. The health centre operates a rostered shift system over 7 days from 6.00am – 10.00pm so flexibility is needed.
We have a full time permanent role available.
A current APC and full drivers licence is essential and we are seeking applications from those already working in New Zealand.
The role is based at Ngahwa in beautiful Northland with its wonderful beaches and secluded bays. Ngawha and the surrounding area offers a great lifestyle and a lower cost of living compared to many other locations.
