In the role of Programme Facilitator you can have a direct impact on making our communities safer. Our Programme Facilitators work with offenders, delivering a range of programmes in the community and prison environments, and work together to help offenders to understand and address the cause of their offending, motivating them to make lasting changes.
We are looking for people who:
- Have a genuine interest in people and are passionate about change
- Proven success with groups and individuals that others might find difficult
Our Programme Facilitators come from different backgrounds, cultures, education and experience – but they all share the ability to motivate others to make positive change in their lives.
Ideally we would expect you to demonstrate:
- Experience in delivering group or individual therapy
- Effective communication and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of Maori and Pacific Island culture, protocols and peoples
- Excellent report writing skills
- An understanding of the dynamics of individual and group behaviour
- Experience in a related field and/or relevant tertiary qualification

As part of the recruitment process, you are required to attend an assessment centre. This will take place during the first week of August 2018. Date to be confirmed. You must be able to start 24 September 2018 - starting salary $58,888 gross pa.
