The Mangere College Health Centre offers students a holistic approach to health care, by providing a range of services, in partnership with the school and community.
This position is part time for 4 days a week, term time only. The days are negotiable and we would consider a full time appointment. The pay rate is according to the MECA scale. Start date is Monday 10 September.
We seek an experienced Registered Nurse who has a passion for youth health and
- Is a team player, who is also able to work independently.
- Takes overall responsibility for the day to day running and administration of the Health Clinic.
- Is culturally aware, and able to work cross-culturally.
- Is computer literate, and who demonstrates an excellence in written and communication skills.
- Has a current practicing certificate.
- Holds a post-graduate qualification in youth health or is prepared to work towards one.
- Is also committed to continuing his/her own professional development which includes undertaking the mandatory training associated with the position.
- Is willing to engage in the Counties Manukau District Health Board’s PDRP programme.
- Has a current full driver's licence
