About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy unit, you will utilise your extensive range of technical skill and assist with a varied list of diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures. You will be willing to partake in all aspects of the role and be an all rounded team player. 0.8 FTE role with flexibility to be rostered to the different sites. Occasional Saturday.
Duties
• Ensure a high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures
• Maintaining accurate nursing records
• Ensuring aseptic techniques adhered to
• Monitoring of patients
• Set up and prepare equipment for use during procedure
• Sterilisation and packaging of equipment
Skills & Experience
• Registered Nurse with current APC
• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant and recent post registration experience in a NZ Endoscopy environment
• Recovery Unit experience beneficial
• Have exceptional oral and written communication
• Willingness to do all aspects of the role
• Teamplayer
