We work with organisations and teams to design and deliver improvement programmes, build capability and provide measurement and evaluation support to senior leaders, clinical leads, frontline teams, and colleagues locally and nationally.

We are currently looking for a Risk and Assurance Manager with extensive experience working within a PMO environment on complex portfolios and programmes of work to join our SPMO team.

In this position you will be responsible for establishing and implementing a framework for assurance across our portfolio, including stage gate reviews, post implementation reviews, and engagement with independent quality assurance where required, and supporting our portfolio to embed and uphold these processes from initiation and business case development, through to implementation and evaluation.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing standards and processes around managing risk across our project portfolio, from initiation and prioritisation through to benefit realisation, building executive level visibility and reporting, and guiding project teams on best practices for managing risk. You will also be a key interface between our programme risk management and our organisational / operational risk management processes

You will have proven risk and assurance experience, preferably within a large health organisation, a minimum 6 years’ experience working across complex portfolios, with an extensive understanding of Risk & Assurance practices, techniques and best practice. Outstanding relationship building and strong communications skills withstrong systems and process knowledge are essential to succeed in this position.
