The Role
In this Auckland based role you’ll be responsible for promoting a portfolio of neurovascular and interventional radiology products to hospitals throughout the upper North Island. This position has a high level of clinical support required in the cath labs and in theatre; access is no issue as consultants recognize the value-add your clinical support and education will provide.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships and physician advocates within accounts through clinical knowledge of procedures and products
- Conduct in-services and presentations; within a high level of clinical support
- Responsible for delivering clinical sales presentations
- Provide input regarding account priorities and competitive intelligence
- Participate in sales training and planning meeting to learn about new products and marketing initiatives
- Attend sales conferences throughout the year, with at least one per year off shore
- Set and achieve personal performance goals for sales volumes, new client sales and other related sales results
Skills & Experience
- Degree educated with a solid career history within medical devices
- Successful track record gained within the hospital environment, ideally within neurology, cardiology or radiology experience and networks
- Demonstrate an ability to absorb technical information quickly and disseminate to all levels of healthcare professionals
- Flexible, pragmatic and customer oriented
- Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solutions based sales approach
- Based in the field you’ll feel at ease working autonomously, but you’ll be able to call on support as and when necessary
- Ability to energise, develop and build relationships at all levels
