Registered Nurse

Palms Lifecare is a 120+ bed rest home and hospital facility located in Pukekohe, Auckland. With great support from management, and an emphasis on building strong relationships with residents and their families, this site is proud of its reputation.

Palms Lifecare is situated in a lovely rural friendly community. Only 30 minutes away from Auckland city however Pukekohe has no Auckland traffic or any traffic woes at all. Pukekohe town centre has everything that a major centre would have including lovely cafe, racetrack and great schools and day care option for children and other services and amenities. The houses are also more affordable than Auckland and the area is still growing and developing an exciting town to live and work in.

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work on a full time basis, who is a reliable team player and has a real passion for working with the elderly. This is an opportunity to work in an incredibly rewarding environment, with our elders, who make the job a pleasure.

Applicants must have the following:

• Eligibility to work in NZ
• Previous Aged Care experience and competency with InterRAI assessments required
• New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current APC
• First Aid Certificate would be preferred
• Understanding the needs of our Elders and delivering service excellence
• A fun-loving personality with a positive attitude
• Strong Communication skills
• A high standard of personal presentation
• High energy, enthusiasm and a team player
• Empathetic and caring nature
• Must be available for all shifts
