We're seeking a Librarian, to deliver an outstanding library service across our children and teens areas and to increase awareness and access to literacy, reading and programmes.
This is a full time, permanent position based at the Koraunui Stokes Valley Community Hub.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Inspire and encourage curiosity, desire to learn, and a love of reading
- Develop and maintain strong community relationships
- Promote and deliver children and teens programmes and services collaboratively with the Libraries and other community specialists to provide the best possible service
- Participate in the development and delivery of children and teens Strategies
You'll have lots of relevant library and/or teaching and learning experience and/or qualifications may be advantageous. You'll also have experience in delivering programmes across children and teens age groups, outstanding communication skills and be comfortable building relationships.
