About the role
Terra Consultants are seeking an Intermediate Civil Survey and Engineering Design Technician to work in our Central Auckland office. The role is largely orientated around both 2D and 3D design and draughting using AutoCAD Civil3D software. The successful applicant must be ambitious, self-motivated, technically capable, and able to work independently. Our design engineers have a flexible role where diversity is encouraged. As part of the role you will be expected to support some aspects of your design with engineering calculations and report writing.
We have a busy workload ahead of us with many residential sub-divisions ready to be designed. In the role, you will interact with other consultants when designing the road, drainage, earthworks, and utility supply. You will correspond with the council for resource consents and liaise with contractors for site inspections and contract supervision.

Skills and experience
Requirements:
- Competent in AutoCAD Civil3D - minimum 3 years of software use
- Civil engineering qualification
- Able to produce professional civil engineering drawings
- New Zealand Citizen (or permanent residency)
