ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This consultancy are specialists in the field of earthquake strengthening and seismic assessments and operate nationally. They are in need of an Intermediate Structural Technician due to growth and an increasing number of projects.
They work on:
- Initial and Detailed Seismic Assessment (IEP/ISA/DSA)
- Earthquake-Prone Buildings (EPBs)
- Structural condition assessment
- Heritage building assessment and retrofit
- Cost benefit analysis
They deliver to private and public clients across New Zealand and internationally and have services relating to the design, investigation, development of new, existing, and historical buildings.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Be a valued member of a close-knit and highly motivated team and be supported fully by the BIM manager. There are a mix of interesting projects to work across from commercial to existing and historic structures.
You will be required to mentor junior staff, provide structural drafting using Revit, and co-ordinate with clients as well as contractors.
You will also get to go on site in this role and also help in improving in-house processes and documentation
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- A minimum of 8 years of NZ experience
- Relevant qualification
- Experienced using Revit
- Excellent English written and communication skills
- Be able to hit the ground running
