The opportunity
Based in Christchurch, an opportunity to implement best practice strategies, drive continuous improvement through operational performance and lead and participate in a number of significant management projects as this organisation continues to advance into the next generation of industry related technologies.

The role
Will comprise a mixture of;

• People leadership – a multidisciplinary team of 10, various experience levels, engaged and motivated, ready for a strong people leader
• Optimisation of site maintenance procedures, including design and implementation of a TPM culture.
• Establishment of equipment performance measures.
• Lead on Facilities Management to achieve Compliance & Maintenance requirements
• Contribute and support new product, new machinery, new facility projects

About you

• A proven people leader with a background in transitioning teams into a TPM culture
• Solid experience in production machinery maintenance ideally within a lean manufacturing environment
• Advantageous but not essential would be exposure to an industrial manufacturing environment that includes cast/machined materials, chemical process/paint application and final component assembly 
• Solid CMMS experience, preferably with some experience in implementation
