An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Fitter for a global engineering company who specialize in power and automation technology.

Your role:

• Identify technical issues by remote or onsite analysis across all service categories such as installation and commissioning, maintenance repairs, engineering and consulting, extensions, upgrades and retrofits etc.

• Prepare reports in a time efficient manner and ensure these are signed by customer representatives

• Troubleshooting - Identify potential or current equipment failures and request appropriate cause of action

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 4+ years’ experience in the electrical industry

• Previous experience in MV/HV industry

• Significant experience working in power stations and sub stations

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and testing equipment

• Experience working with transformers, switchgears and protection equipment

• Experience working on construction sites and understanding the related protocols

• Intermediate level of computer literacy i.e. excel, word and outlook office

• Effective time management skills

• Full Clean Driver’s License

• The successful applicant must be willing to travel when required
