In NZ our client controls a significant share of the Packaging and Material - Handling industry by offering cutting edge solutions which integrate world class automation componentry
Reporting to the Design Manager this intermediate level position will offer plenty of scope to accept responsibility and further develop your career. Specific responsibilities will initially include Design modifications progressing to blank canvas design .Working alongside production you will liaise with the workshop ensuring the successful Design and Build of projects from concept through to commissioning. This will incorporate specifying components and supporting drive train calculations etc.
A high level of internal and external customer Interaction is involved advising clients of equipment upgrades and services.

This position could either suit:
- An NZCE / BTec /BE Engineer who has 3 -5 years design experience in a manufacturing / Industrial environment.
- A Trade Cert engineer with relevant practical work experience who is computer literate and proficient in 2D and 3 D CAD applications and currently working in a Design role.
