The History:
Founding Directors established this buoyant practice, leaving top tier consultancies to offer a more flexible option to clients, and more rewarding environment to employees.
Solid client mix of top tier and second tier developers, with some quality property management groups and independent builders. These clients continuously deliver them projects in mid-rise residential buildings - up to around 25 storeys.
The Opportunity:
Growth comes from an increasingly heavy pipeline, and Directors have viewed this as an opportunity to strategically recruit their next Principal Engineer, with the view of becoming a future Director
The Future:
While standing tall as one of the larger multidisciplinary groups in New Zealand, this structural leader is far from a bureaucracy. Employees comment that they are very open to change. In that same way you can design this Principals role to be purely technical, or more people management or more project/design management or a heavier emphasis on developing business relationships or a mix of the elements where you have strengths in.
Although the team are dominant in the market and attracting top talent and clients there are still a few 'greener' kids who will benefit from a bit of seasoned wisdom in general.
They need an engineer with 15+ years of structural experience (at least 2 years in New Zealand) within a design consultancy. CPEng (or close to) would be an advantage.
