Your new company
Leading edge environmental and civil engineering consultancy are looking for a water engineer to get involved in the environmental and water engineering space. This professional firm produces exceptional and award winning projects involved in commercial and the industrial sectors, known for its innovative solutions are on the hunt for top talent who make a lasting impact in the world.
Your new role
Based in the Christchurch CBD, you will be designing water flow, irrigation systems and dispersion across land and provide effective and sustainable design solutions for the water sectors. This will include the entire project life cycle from start to finish. Regularly meeting with clients for commercial development projects along with dealing with government corporations, commercial companies and local authorities.
What you'll need to succeed
The preferred candidate will have at least 4+ years NZ experience in civil engineering encompassing the three waters infrastructure, safety and use of hydrologic modelling. You will need to be proficient with the software 12D and AutoCAD and take initiative and responsibility for your own work. Self-management is as important as your technical design and be able to prioritise workloads through maintaining strong clientele relationships along with your colleagues.
