Youthline Auckland is a well established and respected Not-For-Profit, specialising in Youth Development, Volunteering and Community Spaces. We are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Officer to join a friendly and professional team.
You will be confident with excellent administrative and accounting skills, systems experience, and a good eye for detail. With a heavy emphasis on payroll administration you will have excellent knowledge of this discipline and relevant legislative requirements. You will be able to work independently and have advanced communication skills enabling you to deal effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operational responsibility for ensuring the integrity of the payroll system
- Fixed asset accounting
- Project work as assigned
- Supporting the accounting function
- Working with a range of managers and staff in relation to delivering assigned responsibilities.
You will have:
- Good payroll administration experience
- Well developed accounting skills
- A high level of competency with Excel
- Familiarity with payroll and accounting systems - IMS and Timefiler experience together with Xero experience an advantage
- An appreciation of the not for profit sector and experience working for a charity or similar organisations will be an advantage.
