Our client is a market leader in it's mechanical design engineering field. With a multitude of projects underway, they have a permanent position available for an experienced Material Handling Designer (Powder transport) whom also has a broad mechanical engineering background.
You will be an experienced Mechanical Designer/Engineer accustomed to projects requiring both a good practical and theoretical understanding of engineering. By applying these skills you will be already be experienced in designing material handling equipment involved in powders transport.
Experience sought would include powder transport systems that would involve pipework and conveyors.
Accordingly good skills with PandID's and PFD's and experience with Inventor 3D design package are integral to this role.
The ideal Material Handling Designer/Engineer will have:
- 5 years or more experience with a broad range of material handling systems involving powders, along with mechanical engineering qualifications.
- experienced with designing from either a developed design or from a concept.
- excellent skills with Inventor, and with producing and working with PandID's.
This role will NOT suit those that come from a mining, or granules type industry.
This is a great permanent position that will reward the successful applicant well.
