  • We are looking for tertiary qualified or equivalent with experience in electrical and mechanical design and CAD.

What you need to bring

  • Our preferred candidate for this role will have proven technical experience in Electrical and Mechanical Design and/or CAD. (You will have the technical support of our extensive design resources based in New Zealand and the wider Asia Pacific area). 
  • You will have extensive experience with CAD tools such as AutoCad, Revit and Electrical CAD packages such as ElecDes or Autocad Electrical.
  • You will be experienced dealing with a range of engineering disciplines and working on multiple projects. Typical projects will include building services (lighting and piping), power (LV/HV), PLC experience, Single Line Diagrams etc.
  • Your own self-management skills will be as important as your technical design.  You will need to prioritize workloads whilst ensuring our Clients' needs are met whilst also maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with your colleague's both locally and across the broader Stantec team internationally.
  • Key requirements are a tertiary engineering qualification with professional experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
