Committed to our sustainable growth, AE Smith have secured multiple Major Projects in Auckland spanning 2017 through to 2020. With work well underway, we are looking for the expertise of a highly experienced Project Draftsperson to join us and work with the local project team in Auckland, to drive the best results for these landmark projects.
Utilising our extensive in-house knowledge, with cutting edge technologies, the ideal candidates will be a forward thinking individuals that embody our mandate that there is a better way, and capture the project in its full life cycle from Field to BIM and back to Field.
In this semi-autonomous role, your responsibilities and required attributes will include:
- Proven experience in HVAC Project Drafting teams for large, landmark projects;
- Extensive HVAC knowledge;
- Lead Services Coordination through BIM, facilitation of meetings & high levels of organisation;
- Advanced knowledge in Autodesk Revit, Fabrication CADmep and Navisworks Manage.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication;
- Manage the production of detailed shop drawings within program;
- Demonstrate confidence in decision making;
- Ability to value manage projects to improve efficiency and minimise cost;
- Work collaboratively with Site Foremen, Project Managers and other internal/external stakeholders;
- Positive, can-do attitude.
