Our client is a market leader across a number of sectors specialising in heavy transport engineering and fabrication. It is a well known brand with a consistent and loyal customer base.

We are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to assist an already highly focused and efficient team to achieve new levels of excellence in mechanical engineering manufacturing processes.

This is a key position within the business and the role will involve working alongside the general manager as well as the Owner/Director. It will be your wealth of experience attained from many years in most sectors of engineering manufacture that will make the impact in this role.

Particular skills required are: -

• Line management experience, including running operational teams.
• Working in technically challenging engineering companies.
• Ability to communicate with the shop floor personnel to the boardroom table.
• Comfortable in dealing with external suppliers and customers.
• High level of commercial experience, particularly in the engineering sector.
