Our New Plymouth team is one of the largest engineering consultancies in the Taranaki area, with a growth plan across New Zealand and internationally. Our projects will introduce you to oil, gas, manufacturing, petrochemical, renewables and other local industries we are looking for Electrical Engineers, at all levels, for current and ongoing projects.

You will be working with a passionate team in an enviable location just a short walk to the beach and you will have the opportunity to travel and work on industrial sites across Taranaki.

The Person

You will be a detail-oriented Engineer, capable of working with a close-knit team of engineers, designers and drafters to produce engineering deliverables to LogiCamms and clients' standards. As a professional engineer you will offer:

• Design capability including protection systems, substations, instrumentation and automation, motor controls and switchboards,
• Experience working in oil and gas facilities or similar heavy or materials handling industries,
• Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT),
• Understanding of pipeline facility design and hazardous areas,
• Experience with asset and maintenance management systems,
• Experience using PowerCAD and AutoCAD or other design programs,
• Experience generating engineering estimates and quotations,
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines,
• HV protection systems design would be highly regarded,
• Degree or equivalent experience/qualifications is mandatory (Electrical, Instrument and Control or Mechatronics).
