We are looking for a Water Engineer: Renewals to join our City Waters division on a permanent full-time basis. The City Waters team sits within our wider Growth and Infrastructure team and is responsible for providing water, wastewater and storm water services to Tauranga. This includes, but is not limited to, planning, building, operating and maintaining the potable water infrastructure. This Water Engineer: Renewals position exists to provide technical and engineering support to manage the renewal of assets in the Water Reticulation Network.
Your key responsibilities will include the provision of specialist technical support, asset renewal / management and research and development.
To be considered for this role, you must hold and be experienced in:
- A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Current Full Drivers License
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the water industry
- Experienced in the development and management of potable water renewal tenders, contracts, reports and drawings
- Management of contractors and consultant
- Proven aptitude for research and development and data analysis preferably in the water industry
