A client of ours is New Zealand’s leading manufacturer and supplier of infrastructure products to the civil construction and rural sectors. now have a State of the Art Facility built and are now looking for an Experienced Batch plant Operator to join their expanding team at this exciting time.
Skills
- Be able to provide technical expertise in concrete and concrete manufacturing.
- Have the ability to undertake raw material field tests, flow field tests and moisture field tests.
- Have technical knowledge of operating instruments associated with Batch Plants.
- Proven track record of excelling in a team environment.
Must have
- 2 + years batching experience
- Exposure to automated processes
- Experience in executing Information Test Plans (ITP)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Health and Safety policies being adhered to in the Batch Plant area.
- Successfully co-ordinate the team and the operation of certain site areas. Keep an eye on all stock levels to ensure materials are used full capacity and wastage is minimalised. Ensures high standard of material quality is met. Has an awareness of consumable costs and communicates potential impacts.
- Effectively communicates with all management on site and ensure compliance with environmental legislation and Hynds policies across the Pokeno site.
- Identify potential need for further training with any of the staff on site. Making sure you can identify and upskill any potential collegue by assists in the writing of SOPs for Batch Plant ops.
- Perform the required cleaning and maintenance plan for the Batch Plant. Identified and execute required minor maintenance. Escalate issues to the maintenance team and facilitate repairs.
