Surfacing Supervisor

Higgins specialises in road and infrastructure design, construction and maintenance. Our teams are bonded together by values developed from a family heritage of over 50 years of business success. With over 1600 staff, the Higgins team is currently involved in some of the largest road engineering projects in New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced supervisor who will be responsible for our small, skilled team in our Nelson surfacing team.

• A bitumen and emulsion chip sealing background

• A general understanding of construction principles 

• Asphalt machine paving and hand laying knowledge

• Great communication skills, both written and verbal

• A high standard of customer service with a "can do" attitude

• An understanding of NZS3910

• Computer skills with Excel/Word is desirable
