We’re looking for an experienced safety and electrical professional with a passion for facilitating training.
Site Safe is a not-for-profit, membership organisation providing education and health and safety services and resources to improve on-site safety. We help develop future Health & Safety leaders, give advice to businesses on solutions that make a real difference and ensure that everyone goes home safe at the end of each day.
As a Safety Advisor you’ll primarily be facilitating interactive and engaging training sessions to help improve behavioural awareness of health and safety. As well as delivering our general Site Safe training courses, in this role you’ll deliver Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) competency courses. You’ll also undertake on-site audits and work with companies to embed health and safety behaviour and systems.
We’re looking for someone with the experience and passion for delivering training to adults, alongside significant Health and Safety knowledge. As this role will be delivering EWRB courses, we’re also looking for someone who is a Registered Electrician or Electrical Inspector.
Ideally this will be backed up with both an Adult Education and a Health and Safety qualification, or you’ll be working towards these. If you’re not there yet, but have the motivation and positive attitude, we’ll help you get there.
Knowledge of the construction, or similar industries, would be an advantage, as is membership with NZISM.
