The Opportunity
With a huge amount of investment going into the Northland region, Whangarei is being viewed as the ideal place to grow and develop professionally whilst enjoying a work life balance.
We have been selected for a delivery panel for the Northland. As a result we are contracted to service and maintain the state highways around the central Northland region; therefore we are looking for an experienced Grader Driver to assist our crew on existing and upcoming construction projects around the Region.
The candidate would be responsible for the surface finishing of granular pavement construction projects on the state highways & local network roads across Northland. You’d be responsible for the day to day running a pavement construction crew & be able to communicate effectively with engineers, customers & clients. At Fulton Hogan, safety is paramount so the candidate should be familiar with hazard management processes & be confident to lead safe work practices within the crew in a busy work environment.
The Candidate
The following skills and attributes are required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within roading and paving construction;
- Class 5 licence & WTR as a minimum, TC or STMS would be advantageous;
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment;
- Self-manager, organised and good attention to detail.
