The Role:

This is a strategic role and reports to the Managing Director. You will have direct reports from Operations, Estimating/Quantity Surveying, Construction, Health and Safety teams and will be fully supported by the skilled and dedicated Group Office Support team.

As the Regional Manager - Southern lakes, you will have a demonstrated background in providing strategic direction, establishing clear objectives, setting standards and targets. You will play an integral role in driving new business, fostering a high performing and collaborative team culture, whilst undertaking reviews and providing governance of project establishment through to completion.

Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate a proven track record at Regional Manager level in a New Zealand/Australian based construction company.

The position will involve:

  • Overseeing construction activities
  • Financial management
  • Team leadership, resource forecasting, development and motivation
  • Relationship management and business development

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a construction related field;
  • Strong communications and leadership skills;
  • Previous client-side experience in the built environment;
  • A strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow business relationships;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
