The purpose of your role is to provide Project Management and Operational Man Management to various Protective Coatings projects and report regularly to Contract Managers
You'll be doing:
- Providing Safety and Quality leadership
- Focus on safety at all times as this is the first priority
- Conduct regular site safety and quality audits
- Maintaining day to day running of jobs & ensuring client programmes are adhered to
- Proactive coordination with client's site teams to ensure no delays for upcoming work fronts or packages
- Manage any sub-contract packages required
- Track on-site productivity against tender allowances
- Work in conjunction with Operations Manager to ensure adequate resources are available on each project
- Maintain and develop relationships with client management teams
- Attend and contribute to weekly management meetings
- Weekly reporting
To thrive in this role you'll have:
- A background is the commercial building/construction sector would be great
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to staff at all levels of the company
- Good prioritisation and time management skills
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
- A high level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Results focused - does what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to build credibility and confidence with managers
- An efficient and well planned approach to problem solving
- Sound computer skills
