G Mundy Construction are a well-established locally owned and operated company based in Papakura. We deliver a range of services to clients throughout predominately South Auckland. we are looking for Surveyor to join our team.
About the role
We are after an enthusiastic Surveyor to support our team, providing setout, asbuilt, and volume capture surveys across various sites, as well as volume calculation, asbuilt plans and various other office tasks. as the surveyor in our team you'll be working with the project management team to deliver outcomes for our clients. we operate a small fleet of 3d machine control (leica & trimble)

Skills and experience
About you:
- Between 1 - 10+ years experience in land/engineering surveying either in NZ, AUS or UK
- You must have a BSurv or other tertiary qualification in land/engineering surveying or working towards these, training will be provided where appropriate
- Knowledge of either AutoCAD Civil3D or civilcad magnet in a survey fashion ( asbuilts, volumes etc)
- Experience in using modern surveying equipment (trimble, leica & topcon)
- we run leica Icon gps
- Trimble SPS series robots
- Topcon pocket 3D gps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- an understanding of construction processes, contract management (desirable)
- Experience in working with machine control (desirable)
- Experience in Drainage works (desirable)
- Ability to work autonomsyly and self manage where appropriate.
- ability to pass pre -employment and random drug and alcohol testing
- ability to work construction hours where required
