CALLING ALL CONSTRUCTION LABOUR: KEEN TO MAKE A CAREER IN HYDROBLASTING

Our client is a national construction services contractor specialising in ultra-high pressure water jetting, they operate in industries ranging from energy to construction, aviation to heavy industry.

Due to company growth they are currently looking for a Trainee Hydro-blasting Operators to join their highly skilled and supportive team, you will be reporting to the Northern Service delivery Manager, this position will involve working in a small and efficient team on various project in Auckland and the upper North Island.

The successful candidate will bring the following attributes to the role:

• You must have proven experience operating machinery, this role requires someone who has strong mechanical aptitude
• Hydro-blasting experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Class 1 drivers license is essential along with the commitment to attain a class 2 immediately
• Site safe and First Aid Certificate would be an advantage
• This role requires you to have a reasonable level of fitness - you must be someone who is fit and able to carry out physical work
• Ability to work flexible working hours and be prepared for out of town travel as required

A bit more about the role:

• South Auckland based, but work will be carried out all throughout Auckland and Upper North Island
• Monday to Friday 6:30am to 4:30pm - you must be flexible with working hours and will be compensated with bonuses for working out of town etc
• Some weekend work might be required
• Training will be provided, along with ongoing development with the ability to move up quickly within the company
