Our client is a very well established and successful medium-sized construction company which operates in the lower North Island. On their behalf, we seek to recruit an Operations Manager to join the senior leadership team to, translate the company's vision and strategy into great results for clients, continue to develop their brand and reputation in the market, and, sustain the profitable growth path they have been enjoying.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide leadership and support across all projects, incorporating team leadership and development, project financial reporting, resource allocation, project management, health, safety and environment, and, quality assurance.
Skills, attributes and experience sought include, demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role in the construction sector, well developed communication and influencing skills, sound contract negotiation experience, a collaborative style that draws the best out of others, outstanding relationship management skills, and finally, a total commitment to leading, supporting and developing people to strive for excellence in everything they do.
