This successful shopfitting company has a vacancy for a site foreman/manager to coordinate projects from start to finish, working alongside the main contractors for interior fit-out projects.

They will consider applications from those who are currently in a similar position, or an experienced joiner/cabinet maker who is looking to step up into a supervisory and management role. An intimate knowledge of shopfitting, cabinetmaking and fit-out projects is ideal. The salary will be in the region of $70-100k depending on experience. 

You will ensure finishes are to the highest standard and want to contribute to an already successful company’s future growth. Our client works on a range of projects including but not limited to commercial, healthcare, airport, hospitality and retail sector developments. Your leadership ability and strong yet friendly attitude will ensure projects are delivered on time, every time.

Essential skills:

• Come from a joinery/carpentry/cabinetmaker/shopfitting background
• Trades qualification or tertiary qualification a bonus
• Excellent communication abilities - you will be liaising confidently with people at all levels
• The desire to be the best and ensure client satisfaction
• An appreciation of what goes into a successful project, from start to finish
• Be level headed and have a hands-on approach when up against deadlines
• Appreciation of what clients want and how to best deliver that
