A need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor has arisen in Auckland.
If you are a proven main contractor quantity surveyor with 8+ years of experience and a number of commercial projects under your belt, then this could be the role for you.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Support the assigned project manager to deliver the project on time and in budget.
- Set the project budget, sublet packages, manage variation process, keep required registers, provide monthly financial summary on progress, manage valuation process and oversee final account.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the QS team.
- Implement policies and procedures, including health and safety, reporting and budget management.
- Ensure financial goals are achieved by analysing revenue and margins within the project(s) under your control.
- Report financial results to the area management, project manager and customer as appropriate.
- Maintain and grow long-term relationships with customer base and capitalise on opportunities that fit the growth plan for the business.
- Effectively communicate relevant information to project manager, project teams, customers and the supply chain.
- Ensure projects deliver exceptional customer experience
To be successful in your application you will have a proven track record in New Zealand of working on commercial projects up to $20million in size.
