We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Advisor to join our join our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Team (HSEQ). Preferably the role will be based out of our head office in Auckland and will require regular travel nationwide and on occasions to the Pacfic Islands to support our construction projects.
About the role:
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the projects quality management programs and systems
- Ensuring the adherence to the McConnell Dowell Integrated Management System and Project Execution Manual
- Ensuring projects are thoroughly aware of and trained in their quality management responsibilities.
- Site quality inspections and/or audits of McConnell Dowell and subcontractor activities
- Review and track all Quality metrics
- Be the champion and voice of good Quality management
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Minimum of 5 years operational experience in the application of quality management principles in the construction industry
- Experience in investigating and reporting quality incidents and defects
- Working knowledge of risk assessment and audit procedures
- Experienced with quality systems, preferably Aconex
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in executing system and accreditation audits
- Knowledge of ISO and AS/NZ process
