Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are recruiting again and we are looking for quantity surveyors seeking a new challenge or a change. Does this sound like you?

CTR are working with a main contractor who can offer stability and progress in your career. They have a solid name in the market and have excellent systems and processes in place. 

Due to the Auckland local construction boom, this contractor has a variety of projects in the region and an opportunity to expand your construction knowledge. They currently have a project about to start and require a solid intermediate or senior quantity surveyor to run this high rise project.  

We are looking for a quantity surveyor who is keen to take on there own projects and do great job. You can come on and take this project on an 18 month fixed term role or as a permanent position, the choice is up to you.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with some of the following experience:

• Related construction qualification
• Sold contract admin experience 
• Confident with claims, variations and final accounts
• An eye for detail and where to make a profit
• Value Management
• Confident communication skills with all stakeholders

Currently we are looking for ideally local candidates, but if you have a solid quantity surveying background from overseas, please let us know.

This role requires some 5 years plus experience and knowledge of high rise/refurb and fit out projects. You will be capable of working under your own steam and co-ordinating your team on the project. Communication is key to any successful project, so you must be able to demonstrate this skill and keeping senior management up to speed.
