Silverstrand New Zealand is currently looking for a suitably experienced Excavator Operators for a large Civil Project in the Wellington area. Candidates must have the following experience:

Be able to operate an Excavator up to 70 tonne capacity;
Have experience in works associated with civil groundworks such as pipe laying, drainage, concrete works, erosion & sediment control, earthworks etc.
Have experience in the preparation and excavation of trenches mechanically and manually where directed;
Have experience in the maintenance of plant during operation; including carrying out of Daily Prestart on plant item at the start of every shift;
Have a strong focus on safety; and
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
