350 Aotearoa is the NZ arm of the international climate justice network, 350.org. We're looking for someone to take on the key functions of the current executive director, who will be taking parental leave from September 2018. This is a dynamic role that requires strong people skills, flexibility, great time management and a passion to progress action on climate change.

If you’re passionate about climate justice, people-power, and are up for a challenge, this is the job for you!

You will be working closely with the 350 Aotearoa Board, a small staff team, and our incredible network of volunteers. We’re a small team with big work, so you’ll need to be able to juggle many different things at once, and have a have a flexible, can-do approach to pitch in wherever is necessary.

You will be responsible for:
– Organisational Strategy
– Campaigns, Projects and Events
– Communications
– Management
– Finance and administration
– Fundraising

You should have:
– Experience in and understanding of leading teams
– Experience in creating and delivering organisational strategy
– Experience in event and action organising
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
– A highly adaptable and flexible approach
– Excellent analytical skills
