THE ROLE:

At CARTERS, we're all about building. Whether it is a multi-million dollar development or changing a tap, we've got the expertise to help with your next building project. As a nationwide building supplies merchant, we've got everything you need, wherever you are in New Zealand.

Reporting to our inspirational Sales Manager you'll manage large residential accounts, you'll create and maximise branch sales and you'll grow your accounts further as your relationships with Customers flourish. Some of you day to day responsibilities will include:

• Implementing regular sales cycles, visiting building sites and identifying opportunities for growth

• Providing product and market info to your Customer base

• Working with internal stakeholders, including despatch, to ensure our service levels are met and your Customers receive their products on time and in full

• Reading building plans, understanding your Customer's build and anticipating what they will need next

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Successful sales track record within a B2B environment

• Breaking into new markets excites you and you understand the value of price and margin in building profitable business

• High level of self-motivation where you work well autonomously and are comfortable managing call cycles

• High level of commercial acumen together with the ability to quickly pick up the trade sales market makes you ideal
