Our client:
Our client is a privately NZ owned manufacture of quality continental small goods and delicatessen meats. Since being established over 30 years ago, they have grown into a major manufacturer supplying top of the range products into supermarkets, hotels and large hospitality groups across New Zealand.
The position:
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and efficient person with experience in the culinary industry to be a valid member of a face paced and dynamic environment. The roles main responsibility is sales management of key food retail and hospitality customers. It also has a strong focus on new business development and will require frequent travel throughout New Zealand as there is plenty of scope to increase customer base and sales. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain relationships with our customers to ensure quality service.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as the role requires sales on the road
- Experience within a management role within the culinary industry
- Organisational skills and ability to work efficiently and autonomously
- Full NZ Drivers licence and flexibility to travel around the North Island
- Proven sales experience is preferred
