We're looking for an experienced Strategic Capability and Workforce Consultant to help us create our workforce for the future.
About the role
As our Future Capability and Workforce consultant you will own and evolve our workforce planning practices and the framework for future workforce capability across the Bank. You'll be supporting the Future of Work Transformation Lead and Transformation Office to develop the enterprise strategic workforce plan, build and help apply our future workforce capability framework and develop accurate and insightful reporting and analysis to help shape our future.
Future capability:
- Support the definition of future strategic capabilities that will enable BNZ's future success and deliver performance now
- Work with the business to assess gaps and key focus areas for action
- Research and analyse external demand and supply factors - help translate these into implications/ insight for our business
- Support enterprise capability development strategy and implementation
Strategic workforce planning:
- Workforce analytics and reporting to create insights around demand and supply factors influencing our future workforce and inform our transformation strategy
- Maintaining and evolving the strategic workforce plan so we continue to have clear line of sight to the workforce capabilities we need and how we are developing/ building them over time
- Define and evolve strategic workforce planning practices and capability across the business - working with HR and business leaders
About you:
- Robust understanding of strategic workforce planning methods and practices
- Good understanding of talent and people practices that support capability build in an organisation
- Practical experience of designing, implementing and maintaining strategic workforce plans and frameworks for developing/ building workforce capability
- Advanced analytical and innovative problem-solving skills
- Previous business strategy role or strategic responsibilities would be ideal
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the macro trends impacting workforces today and how this may change in the future
- Curiosity about 'what's next' and a desire to learn so that we stay on top of the emerging trends shaping workforce demand and supply over the coming years
