St John of God Waipuna, a service of St John of God Hauora Trust is a provider of services for young people. We currently have a vacancy for a Community Programmes Co-ordinator in the Young Parents Development Service based at St John of God Waipuna.
This position is permanent, working 16 hours per week however, there will be four close down periods during the year, where we do not require you to work, in alignment with the NZ State Primary School Holidays Schedule when the Young Parents Development groups operate. Please note that there may also be a need for some evening work.
The ideal applicant will have the following skills/experience:
- Experience of effective engagement and knowledge of working with young people
- Ability to purchase, prepare and cook food
- A full clean driver’s licence
- Ability to assist with data input (when required)
- Can clean up and tidy the Kitchen
- Can transport young parents and their children to and from courses
