The Role 

We are looking for a part-time Technical Service Operator to join our team based in Auckland. The morning shift from 7:30-11am and the evening shift from 3-7pm, both roles are Monday-Friday with occasional work on a Saturday.

This role will be responsible to deliver first class customer experience to residential and small commercial prospective and existing customers of ADT Consumer Security. 

Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Scheduling for new customer installation and connection to monitoring appointments 
  • Dispatch of field technicians resources to complete installations and service jobs 
  • Co-ordination of technicians to ensure all required and used equipment is collected, installed and recorded in ADT systems 
  • Dispatch of field technicians to pro-active and reactive service appointments 
  • Follow up on completion of jobs assigned within the commitment date and ensure ready for billing 
  • First point Technical Support resolution resolves where ever possible 
  • Identification of remote office resolution opportunities and development of a technical capability to resolve. 

Who are we looking for?

In this role you will be co-ordinating and organising field technicians, so we are looking for someone with previous experience providing support to field based technicians or contractors. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide concise accurate information.

You will be a logical thinker who can look at a situation, understand what is causing a problem and take appropriate action. You will also be able to offer excellent customer service to our customers and internal stakeholders.
