We’re looking for a talented graphic designer to work in-house across our entire portfolio of consumer and trade events, for one year for a maternity cover. We’re North Port Events and we stage some of NZ’s most iconic events, such as The Food Show, Baby Show, Waikato Home & Garden Show, Facilities Integrate, Fine Food NZ and Auckland Art Fair.

Working in our Ponsonby office and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll create marketing collateral for all our shows, including things like event collateral, invitations, event signage, online and print advertising, promotional materials, TVCs, reports, training presentations, e-newsletters, and more.

You will liaise with suppliers as well as the members in the wider team (Operations, Marketing and Sales), and so good communication skills are a must.

You’ll bring to the table at least three years of commercial experience in digital and print design plus proven proficiency with Apple Mac computers and the use of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and experience with Premier Pro and After Effects is a bonus!

Your attention to detail and excellent organisational skills will help you maintain a high work output and produce work to a consistently high standard while managing multiple projects under pressure.
