About the business and the role
We are a fun, energetic, mobile photography studio that creates beautiful portraits of NZ's families! We specialize in New Born, Children and Family Portraiture. We are mobile - setting up in commercial centers so we can work all around New Zealand making it easier for our clients to get to us. Although based in Auckland we also move around the South and North Island (Spending abut 4 months a year away from Auckland).
We are a small business that is expanding, which means our current head photographer and business owner needs some one to take on this responsibility while she looks after other aspects of the business. This is a very important role for the company, not only will you be the face, you will also be in charge of a photography assistant and solely in charge of creating stunning portraiture and continuously producing your work to a high standard. Customer service is a must! This is not a glamorous studio job, it is hands on and we create real experiences with our clients.
We are passionate about what we do. Although we take the work we produce seriously, we aren't at all serious when we are producing that work! We laugh and have fun with all the little ones that come in!

Job tasks and responsibilities
Your will follow through the process from start to end. You will bring in customers, create a beautiful shoot, edit the images, sell the photos, then process the orders and dispatch.
Advertise and bring in customers. You will be required to bring in new customers every day by promoting what we have to offer.
Build strong customer relationships.
To create stunning studio photography!
Take sole charge of running the studio and be in charge of a photography assistant.
Have a lot of fun with the children that come into the studio, put all family members at ease so you can create that perfect shot.
Be comfortable selling your work.
Have an AMAZING attutide ! It's a must to bring a fun, positive, hardworking attitude every day into work! This is a high energy job!

Skills and experience
There is a lot of aspects to this role. To be sucessful you must have a great outgoing personality that clients are drawn to. You must love children and must be someone that enjoys been surrounded by people everyday!
-To be able to bring a positive atitude to work every day.
- 3 Years Studio experience is a must!
- Managed a Photography studio before and had a role where you were responsible for other employees.
- Photography study is import to us - we need someone that has full technical knowledge as well as a creative flare. BA Hons Degree or similar.
- Experience working with children.
- High level skill in using Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Happy to travel for work and be out of Auckland for up to two months at a time.
- Sales experience is a plus!
- You must have the right to work in NZ
