Trainee Audio Visual Technician
Who we are
We are a small company with a growth strategy and looking for our next star.
We hire audio visual equipment, including the set up and operation at various, business and entertainment events, shows and expos etc.
As a small company we undertake a very wide range of events providing a lot of variety on a day to day basis.
The Role
As a member of our small team you will be exposed to every aspect of the business and expected to contribute, providing great learning and development opportunities.
Initially, you will work with one or more of the team where you will be attending venues, setting up the equipment, and where required, assisting with equipment operation.
As you develop in confidence, you will run smaller jobs on your own, eventually leading others as the key technician at larger events.
Some weekend and evening work is required.
Requirements
- A proven ability to set up basic sound and visual systems
- A history of involvement with school productions or similar
- Excellent communications skills in both written and oral English
- Good listening skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Proven computer skills with a variety of programs including, Powerpoint, Facebook, YouTube
- Full Driver's License
