We're seeking a highly experienced visual storyteller who likes to push boundaries in style, aesthetic and through mobile platforms. This person should be a competent shooter, video editor and interviewer.

We're looking for someone with an artistic but radical eye who obsesses over both news and internet technologies. He or she should have an immense amount of experience crafting scripts by hand and carrying out story ideas from conception to completion.

This role will be responsible for creating doc-style videos, from news analysis to larger investigative features and potentially even half-hour docs. This person will be expected to create content that lives at the intersection of documentary, news analysis and social media experimentation. We not only expect a polished video product from you but a never-before-attempted treatment and social rollout plan for each piece. We will push you to continually reinvent yourself.

We are a team excited to experiment at every level of the creative and editorial process, from framing to engagement to the types of questions we ask.

Were looking for those who like to pivot off the top headlines and find a fascinating visual story buried within. Depending on length, we will expect turnarounds from conception to completion to be around one to two weeks.

Doing this job you will also be producing video for our website from the editorial desk - this means newsgathering from online and reversioning news footage and providing creative (or) fast treatments.
